When we hide from God we bring the dirt - and ugly little critters soon follow. When we hide from Man we bring shame and condemnation. We were never created to carry this burden. In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves because they were ashamed of their own imperfections. They no longer saw the beauty of their Creator (Genesis 3:7). So, I encourage you to let go of everything that holds you down, and give it to God (Hebrews 12:1). Allow God to refine you like gold in the fiery furnace of affliction (Daniel 3:16-23 & Revelation 3:18). Then watch as Jesus shows up to do a mighty work in your life (Daniel 3:23-30 & Revelation 3:19-21). I council you to put on the garments of praise and purity, so that you may be called righteous (Isaiah 61:3 & Revelation 3:18). Open your eyes so that you may see the beauty of your Creator. (Revelation 3:18). Then you will be granted the right to sit with Jesus in Heaven, and all authority will be given to you (Revelation 3:21 & Luke 10:19). God will unmask and train His Sons and Daughters to usher in the glory of Jesus Christ. He will give them beauty for ashes so that they may be as bold as lions-outwardly proclaiming the Gospel-while quietly stewarding the gifts and “talents” of God. He will give you a new identity in Christ, calling you to leave the past behind, so that you may become transparent with others - openly sharing your testimony. To the one whose heart is open let him hear what the Spirit is now saying to the churches (Revelation 3:22 ). I will see you in the beautiful restoration of Eden. Love, Chelsea
