These are two out of the seven spirits of God. They also go together. The spirit of knowledge is a teaching gift. When this spirit is on you, you are able to teach the scriptures, so that everyone understands it and can apply the word to their everyday lives. The spirit of knowledge will also give you divine insight into the hearts and minds of individuals. It works similar to prophecy. However, prophecy deals with the present and the future. A word of knowledge deals with a person’s past and present situation. The fear of the lord is a key that unlocks the secrets of heaven. It is an awe inspiring kind of fear. This spirit gives you a deep desire to honor the Lord in everything you do.
